Despite the poor reviews, I gave this place a shot and was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food above average (i enjoyed the grilled steak with maduros and rice and beans) but they provided great customer service. It's not a place to travel out of your way for but it's a solid option if you are in the area.
Not sure why this place would have bad reviews. If my Ecuadorian friend didn't recommend this, I might miss out on this great Latin food! People complain about long waits, but doesn't all great food take time? We absolutely loved the fish and octopus ceviche, the fried fish filet (not in pic, came out later) and Churrasco Submarina/tbone steak with seafood sauce (1st time I tried, and it definitely worth the bucks. The tostanes are the freshest I've ever had. Service was fast, and our server had the smile on his face the whole night. We'll revisit this place!
